What we learned today is that by taking the Dick Tracy style of bizarre illustration and apply it to a dog, what we gain is a monster that rivals in horrors ever published. That is a far more terrifying Hound of a Baskerville than any version of the actual novel has ever portrayed. Crap, that dog is monstrous.

Because, honestly, wasn't everyone thinking the comics needed to feature more minimalist-style fall-back nudity of a child? No, no one was? Crap, someone should've told the current creative team of Hi & Lois before they embarked on their 2-month epic "The Flagstons visit a nudist beach."

Just in time for the weekend release of The Dark Knight, the folks at Hi and Lois bring us a movie theater-related gag! How timely and relevant! Except for how this would never happen in any theater called a "multiplex" ever. Oh, and everyone is actually watching the "action movie" this weekend.

But you get the last laugh, Hi and Lois! While thousands are crowding into the other 15 theaters in the multiplex, you and Mr. and Mrs. Annoyed-old-couple get to watch the romance on big comfy sofas in the best-lit theater for miles. Curse you and your $6 small popcorn!
